Taman Ayun Temple is a landmark in the village of Mengwi, Badung regency, located 17km northwest of Denpasar. Jatiluwih rice terraces pretty much cover the region of the namesake upland village in West Bali, most famous for its landscapes that are both dramatic and truly exotic. Lake Bratan in the Bedugul is one of the most picturesque and most photographed temples in Bali. This Balinese gate is located in the highlands of Bedugul. Here, the weather is a little cooler and cloudier. Twin Lake is surrounded by mountains with little caves who created their own viewpoint. Banyumala Waterfall is one of the lesser known waterfalls in Bali. It is located north of Lake Buyan in northcentral Bali.
