Padangbai is a village in Manggis District, Karangasem Regency, on the east side of Bali Island, Indonesia. The city is a ferry port for shipping to Lombok Island, Nusa Penida.
There are three main locations for snorkeling in PadangBai, Blue Lagoon, Japan and Ferry Channel. You may see white tips and black tip reef sharks, turtles, cuttle fish, fish frogs, powerful and ornate ghost pipe fish, frogfish, moray eels, garden eels, many puffer fish families, porcupine fish, pipe fish, clown fish, fish banners , angel fish and so many other reef fish.
Padangbai is characterized by white sand bottom and clear blue water like Tulamben and it is black volcanic rock. It took about 10-15 minutes of jukung trip before we reached the snorkeling location. Don’t worry because the snorkeling guide will be by your side for this trip.
